Brain–computer interfaces are restoring sight, hearing, speech, and mobility. They stand to dramatically improve the quality of life of millions of people around the world.
As we learn how the brain and nervous system work, we will learn how to explore and enhance the human experience: to control our neuro-biological processes, and to interconnect with computers and AI.
What we do in the next 10-20 years will determine how AI and humanity will coexist — and neurotech is at the core of this existential question.
